The current administration has chosen to attack the media, calling it "fake news" and the "enemy of the people."

The Summers County Huddle decided to defend the free press by sponsoring a First Amendment Contest for students from fourth through twelfth grades.

We will definitely continue this project, as we feel educating young people about our fundamental freedoms is the best way to turn those young people into responsible voters.
